Law Enforcement Appreciation Events

Thanking Those who Serve and Protect

In appreciation of your devotion to protect and serve others, the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team is pleased to support the law enforcement community through annual retreats. These events acknowledge the unique challenges officers and their families face. We hope you will take this opportunity to step away from the pressing demands of life and career to focus on the truths found in God’s Word.

    • How do I check-in?

For Retreats Held at The Cove: You will arrive at the front gate and be greeted by the security guard, who will direct you to your lodging building. Once you arrive in the building lobby, you will be greeted by our staff and provided with your room keys. You will also then receive your registration packet (retreat notebook, itinerary, name tags, etc.).

    • What do I do if I’m running late?

If you arrive late (after 6:00 p.m.) on Monday evening, please stop by the registration table and one of our staff members will assist you in retrieving your registration packet and gifts. We will do our best to accommodate any late arrivals with a meal as long as food is still available.

    • What do I need to do if I need to cancel?

Some people will wear slacks and a button-up shirt to the evening dinners and some will be in jeans the entire time. Please dress casually and enjoy the encouraging retreat with your spouse.

    • What if I have special dietary needs?

If you or your spouse have serious dietary needs (food allergies, gluten intolerance, etc.), please email Myers Stewart, in our office, so we can pass on your information to the chef. If you share a dietary need with us to pass on to the chef, you must still make our staff aware so they know how to best accommodate you.

    • I have other questions.

For any questions concerning the retreat, the online registration process, or if you need further assistance, please call the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association at 800-335-1337, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time). You may also email our office in Charlotte, N.C. at for assistance.

      – Law Enforcement Wife from Pearland, TX

      – Law Enforcement Officer from Lebanon, NJ

    • “What did you find most valuable from this retreat? The opportunity for my wife to hear what I can’t say or don’t know how to say.”
      – Law Enforcement Officer from Ingleside, TX

    • “Since the retreat, my wife and have been transformed, it seems. We were both renewed in our faith, feel energized for God and have just been overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit. • “It’s one of the few times in the last few years that we’ve felt truly safe, with other Christian officers & people who love us.”
      – Officer’s spouse
